Surat at-Takwir “The Overthrowing”, literally “The Turning Into a Sphere” is the eighty-first sura of the Qur'an with 29 ayat.

Surah At Takwir (The Rolling)

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

When the sun is rolled up.
When the stars are dimmed.
When the mountains are set in motion.
When the relationships are suspended.
When the beasts are gathered.
When the oceans are set aflame.
When the souls are paired.
When the girl, buried alive, is asked:
For what crime was she killed?
When the records are made public.
When the sky is peeled away.
When the Fire is set ablaze.
When Paradise is brought near.
Each soul will know what it has readied.
I swear by the galaxies.
Precisely running their courses.
And by the night as it recedes.
And by the morn as it breathes.
This is the speech of a noble messenger.
Endowed with power, eminent with the Lord of the Throne.
Obeyed and honest.
Your friend is not possessed.
He saw him on the luminous horizon.
And He does not withhold knowledge of the Unseen.
And it is not the word of an accursed devil.
So where are you heading?
It is only a Reminder to all mankind.
To whoever of you wills to go straight.
But you cannot will, unless Allah wills—The Lord of the Worlds.

Idzaasy-syamsu kuu-wirat	إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ	1
Wa-idzaan-nujuumuun-kadarat	وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ	2
Wa-idzaal jibaalu sui-yirat	وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ	3
Wa-idzaal 'isyaaru 'uth-thilat	وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ	4
Wa-idzaal wuhuusyu husyirat	وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ	5
Wa-idzaal bihaaru sujjirat	وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ	6
Wa-idzaannufuusu zuu-wijat	وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ	7
Wa-idzaal mawuudatu su-ilat	وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ	8
Biai-yi dzanbin qutilat	بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ	9
Wa-idzaash-shuhufu nusyirat	وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ	10
Wa-idzaassamaa-u kusyithat	وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ	11
Wa-idzaal jahiimu su'iirat	وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ	12
Wa-idzaal jannatu uzlifat	وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ	13
'Alimat nafsun maa ahdharat	عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ	14
Falaa uqsimu bil khunnas(i)	فَلا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ	15
Al-jawaaril kunnas(i)	الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ	16
Wallaili idzaa 'as'as(a)	وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ	17
Wash-shubhi idzaa tanaffas(a)	وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ	18
Innahu laqaulu rasuulin kariimin	إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ	19
Dzii quu-watin 'inda dziil 'arsyi makiinin	ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ	20
Muthaa'in tsamma amiinin	مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ	21
Wamaa shaahibukum bimajnuunin	وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُونٍ	22
Walaqad raaahu bil afuqil mubiin(i)	وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالأفُقِ الْمُبِينِ	23
Wamaa huwa 'alal ghaibi bidhaniinin	وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ	24
Wamaa huwa biqauli syaithaanin rajiimin	وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ	25
Fa-aina tadzhabuun(a)	فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ	26
In huwa ilaa dzikrul(n)-lil'aalamiin(a)	إِنْ هُوَ إِلا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ	27
Liman syaa-a minkum an yastaqiim(a)	لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيمَ	28
Wamaa tasyaa-uuna ilaa an yasyaa-allahu rabbul 'aalamiin(a)	وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ	29
